Tommy Cangelosi is the Broker/Owner of Landmark Realty and Investments, but real estate has been a big part of his life long before Landmark ever opened its doors.
Tommy got his start in real estate in 2014 while he was still a student at Valdosta State University. What started as a career opportunity quickly turned into something he genuinely loved. Over the years, he has built his business the old-fashioned way—working hard, answering the phone, treating people right, and taking care of clients long after a closing is over.
That approach has helped Tommy consistently rank in the top 1% of agents in the South Georgia MLS, and for each of the last four years, he has finished #1 in total closed transactions. While he’s proud of those numbers, Tommy would be the first to tell you that the relationships behind those transactions mean a lot more to him than the rankings.
Tommy eventually founded Landmark Realty and Investments with the goal of building a real estate company that did things a little differently. He wanted Landmark to be a local company built around relationships, hard work, and people who genuinely care about the clients and communities they serve. Today, he is proud of the team and reputation Landmark has built throughout South Georgia.
One area of real estate Tommy is especially passionate about is investing. As an active real estate investor himself, he understands that buying an investment property is very different from buying a primary residence. He has experience with rental properties, renovations, flips, investment portfolios, and commercial properties and enjoys helping both new and experienced investors look at the numbers and make smart decisions. Whether someone is buying their first rental, adding to an existing portfolio, or ready to sell multiple properties at once, Tommy can speak to the process from personal experience—not just from the perspective of a real estate broker.
At the same time, his business has never been limited to investors. Tommy works with buyers and sellers across all types of real estate, from someone’s very first home to luxury properties, land, commercial real estate, and large investment transactions. Regardless of the price point, he believes people deserve the same level of communication, effort, and honesty.
South Georgia is home for Tommy, and being involved in the community is important to him. He serves on multiple local boards and enjoys supporting organizations and raising money for charities and causes that are close to his heart. For Tommy, being successful in a community also means doing your part to give back to it.
When he’s not working—and admittedly, that’s not very often—you can usually find Tommy playing tennis or golf, fishing, or spending time with family and friends. He is married to his wife, Brittany, and they have two daughters, Collier and Charlee. They are members of Francis Lake Baptist Church, and family, faith, and community are a big part of their lives.
At the end of the day, Tommy‘s philosophy on real estate is pretty simple: work hard, tell people the truth, treat every deal like it matters, and take care of people. That’s how he built his business, and it’s how he plans to keep doing it.
